Having a child was the most amazing thing that has happened in my life, even over meeting my husband and getting married. Yes, I know many parents will say that but it's just different to actually experience it yourself. Our son was diagnosed with Hirschsprung's Disease the day after he was born and was immediately transferred to our local Children's hospital for specialized treatment. He had major surgery at four days old to remove seven inches of his lower intestine (good thing we're given extra, apparently). He is a handsome, healthy and busy little boy now, but what should have been the happiest, joyful time of my life turned into the biggest emotional rollercoaster I have ever experienced. We were clueless, heartbroken, first time parents. It's because of this experience that I feel I cherish the little things with our son possibly more than I would have not having gone through it. It's why my son's first year scrapbook is three, yes three, full scrapbooks. I've vowed to myself that year two will be one album but it's not looking good. There are too many moments and memories that I don't want to forget, that I won't let myself forget.
In comes Pear Tree Greetings. I'm a proud parent, who isn't? Pear Tree Greetings allows me to celebrate some of these special moments in life with my friends and family in a printed form. It's different than reading my blog or getting an email, it's something they can hold, share, and maybe make them smile.
I truly believe in our product, our quality and our people. Yes, I love my job.
And because I don't like blog posts without pictures...
One of my favorite shots from my wedding...
A few of Connor man.
Alright. Enough about me. I hope you find the designs and prices of Pear Tree Greetings just as great as I do. And keep coming back...not only to the blog, but to Pear Tree Greetings. We're going to continually add more product to keep your stationery needs satisifed all year round!
Thanks!
