It’s the end of November and by now you have started gathering ideas for family and friends’ Christmas gifts. Or maybe you don’t use a list but shop throughout the year when you get a hint or idea for the perfect gift. Either way, it’s fun to try to find that one gift you know they’ll love. And we want to know in this Christmas contest, what is the best gift you’ve given or received? It can be something sentimental, something funny or something that really surprised you and stays with you every Christmas.

Halloween Costume Contest

Halloween Costume ContestGhosts, pirates, witches, pumpkins, superheroes and so many more creative costumes fill the streets in the evening of October 31st. This is one of the best times of the year for children as they go door to door disguised in their aspirational costumes and saying the familiar phrase of “Trick-or-treat!”

We love Halloween at Pear Tree, so this year we decided to have a Halloween Costume Contest to win $150 towards holiday cards! We’re looking forward to seeing all the fun costumes, and you just might win some extra cash to spend on your holiday cards!

Back to School Photo Contest Winners!

We have our three winners from our Back to School Photo Contest! All the photos were adorable and inspired fun back to school photo ideas for many parents. We did a random drawing and here are the winners!

Jackson KindergartenOur first winner is … Jackson! Jackson started Kindergarten this year. His mother, Amye, said, “I had very mixed feelings about Jackson’s first day of Kindergarten. After having a slight meltdown during the summer when completing his registration forms, I was very worried about what may happen on the first day of school. I am happy to report both Jackson, and his mommy (me), did very well and there were no tears. It was an exciting, and fun, first day! He is LOVING his new school, Southminster Day School, and Kindergarten!” Congratulations and we are so happy to hear to the first day went well for both Jackson and mom – no tears shed!
