Earth Day 2009

Did you know today is Earth Day? I biked to work this morning to celebrate, and plan on biking every day that it’s nice from now on. Fortunately…I live only 4 miles from the office. Plus, Connor LOVES to be outside, and loves riding in the little bike trailer.

What are you doing to celebrate today? THOUSANDS of people across the world are celebrating today, cities are hosting huge events. What can you do? Little things count. Print a few less emails out today. Drink your coffee out of a mug. Shut your computer off tonight. Bike to work (or carpool). These things will add up! See what you can do today…and tomorrow…and the next day.

No, no, no, I’m not pregnant again. Connor isn’t even one yet! However, I wanted to share a unique idea for announcing your pregnancy to friends and family. We have a few photo birth announcements that are gender specific, perfect for announcing your pregnancy!

I happen to be very fond of coordinating and matching in many aspects of my life. When my husband and I go out…we typically coordinate. Now, that said, it’s not like we MATCH, it’s more like complimentary colors. You can imagine how my wedding planning process went and most recently building our house. I haven’t even started decorating the house really…it stresses me out (making sure everything coordinates…)
